Parents and Students of Seishin:
We are happy and excited to announce the re-opening of our studios and resuming of in-studio classes! We hope everyone is doing well and has been staying healthy. We would also like to express a sincere thank you to everyone for helping our business over this challenging period and greatly appreciate the outpouring of support by our Seishin families.
Though we will be operating under the new Massachusetts health guideline, we understand that some may not be ready to immediately return to in-studio classes. Not to worry, our Distance Learning Program which includes ZOOM classes, weekly on-demand pre-recorded classes, and student video library of curriculum will continue to be available at no additional cost. The class schedules (in studio and ZOOM) can be found here: MEDWAY | SHERBORN
We have have several procedures in place to ensure a healthy and safe learning environment:
1- Class size will be limited to ensure proper social distancing.
2- All students will have their temperature checked prior to entry (touch-less thermometer).
3- Cleaning and disinfecting will be performed daily and between classes.
4- Face masks are required for all staff members and students.
5- Parent drop-off/pick-up only. Students will only be allowed entry 5 minutes prior to class to avoid crowding. Students will line up while maintaining proper distancing from one another with their masks on while waiting for their temperatures to be taken prior to entry.
6- No partner activity (sharing of targets, sparring, partner drills) until the current health concerns subside.
Students looking to return to in-studio classes are also welcome to participate in ZOOM classes at no additional charge. We have attached a class schedule that shows all of the class offerings, both in studio and ZOOM.
Students must reserve a space in class so we may properly control class sizes and maintain social distancing. No student will be allowed into the studio without first signing the needed form, emailing us, and receiving confirmation to reserve a space in class. his is a safety protocol so we can properly manage our class sizes to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.
If you are planning on attending in-studio classes, please email your chief instructor:
Shihan Eric: eric@seishinsportkarate.com
Sensei Tim: tim@seishinsportkarate.com
If you have not received the required form, please request it with the email.
As always, thank you for your continued support during this time. We are excited to get back on the mats with our students.
Best,
Seishin Staff
